"glitterbomb" is great. production is wonky but interesting? psyched for a new incubus record for the first time in......
No fun clip: Also there's a completely new mix of Nimble Bastard apart of the album pre orders and on Spotify as well. It sounds different but me likey.
Production is very.... "clicky"? "Staticy"? Not analog. Strange decision, but just listened once so far. Song is good though. I may wait til album drops to listen again.
Late to the party but please don't tell me dubstep is being featured on a Incubus track... UGH. Edit: "Have no fear though—Incubus states that it will in no way be some sort of dubstep record. But they did go on to praise the multi-talented musician, saying they were "honored" at the opportunity to work with him. And they said Skrillex agreed." Thank god. Woah
Guess I'm in the minority that isn't too stoked off Nimble Bastard or Glitterbomb. Musically it's dope but lyrically? Not as much IMO. Hopefully the record delivers though. Crow is my favorite record with Light Grenades and Morning View as my second and third favorites.
Album preview with 1:30 of each track is "out there"... sounds great honestly, like really good. (Side note: I will never get why "previews" of that much of an album leak out before the actual leak...? Can someone explain?)
Honestly I'm less sure of my opinion now after the second half of the preview lol... "When I Became a Man" sounds like a really pointless interlude, and the rest after it I'm not sure about. At least the first half sounds great...
I lowered my expectations, this is going to be even more polarizing than ever haha. Good for them for trying new things
Oh yeah I meant to post that the 90sec preview were on iTunes last week. No idea why the band would put them up. I'd hate to have snippets out there before the full songs especially in an official manner like this rather than a leak
Didn't realize it was that expensive to buy a record or songs on iTunes. It's been a while, but I always remember song 99 cents and 9.99-11.99 for albums
