I was certainly being hyperbolic, but extrapolating from the 2 clips (plus my enjoyment of "Nimble Bastard") the best case version of this song could be great.

 

Just realized Incubus' early albums sound like Lostprophets and Finch in some ways, especially vocally.

 

It does sound better than I expected it to.

I have a feeling the artwork for this is going to be horrible. Everything they're posting on social media has their mugs all over it and the Trustfall artwork.

They could have been accurate and stated that he CO produced the record but oh well. Dave Sardy did majority of the heavy lifting. Sonny is an incredibly smart musician and can work his magic on just about everything so I'm excited.

This is crazy and incredible, I haven't been as excited for an Incubus album in more than a decade.

 

i don't really fuck with Incubus anymore, but man, Nimble Bastard is something else.
