  1. Science, MY, MV, Crow are all great. The others are decent to good.

A Crow Left of the Murder will always be my favorite record of theirs. It's so damn good. Anyways, ranking time!

    Crow > Morning View > Light Grenades > Make Yourself > 8 > If Not Now, When? > S.C.I.E.N.C.E > Fungus

Personally never understood the universal love for Morning View

It’s a good album for its strong songs but as a whole I much prefer Make Yourself or Crow Left of the Murder

I prefer Make Yourself now but Morning View was the album to get me into Incubus so it always hold that special place. I'd put the whole of light grenades over Crow for me also

Morning is probably no.3 for me. Think I prefer the energy on MY and Crow, but MV has so many classics.

My hot take on Morning View is that everyone seems to say it has a really distinct sound, but it's maybe their least coherent album (save for maybe LG).

Saw this morning that they've got new UK shows in June, bought tickets to the Albert Hall, and subsequently found out they're playing the Make Yourself set and I'm now absolutely beside myself with excitement.

Really enjoyed the two singles, especially Into The Summer, so I'm looking forward to checking it out.

Listened to it today and it was... aiiight, the new songs didn't really grab me much unfortunately

Yeah, it’s crazy how boring they’ve become musically during the past decade. New songs do nothing for me besides “Our Love.”

That's easily the best of the bunch

Our Love and On Without Me is really solid but the rest are just alright at best.

I haven't listened yet but I do think these guys lost the plot pretty quick......all the sudden their albums (last couple) have just gotten so mediocre.

I've only heard singles from this band, where should I start?

The stretch of albums from Make Yourself to A Crow Left of the Murder is the sweet spot for most people, and probably the albums with the singles you're most familiar with.

A Left Crow of the Murder is their best record hands down. If anything, I would recommend that record.

Morning View, Make Yourself, Light Grenades, and even 8 (in that order in terms of quality) are all around pretty solid too.

  22. I like the EP, but again they’re playing it safe. I say it every time they release new music, but I want a spacey, jammy album from them. I know they can do it.

I really vibed with this band back in the day. The Enjoy Incubus EP is a cool funky introduction. SCIENCE remains my favorite, still love all that nu metal/funk metal stuff. Make Yourself was the first album I heard like many and I’d still consider one of the best alternative rock albums of that era. Morning View I also really liked, a welcome more soft sound mixed with their usual heavier side. I liked A Crow.. less but it does have its good songs. I was surprised by how much I immediately liked Light Grenades, but then they lost me with their following material. New EP is half pretty good, but doesn’t match their past quality.

Just gave it a second listen and I liked it even more. Without You and Paper Cuts are already growing on me, although I think the former is trying to do a bit too much and not quite landing with some of it.
