Into The Summer is finally out. I like it, chorus is super catchy, and the bridge is interesting and satisfying in a way that I feel they failed to achieve through most of 8.

Can't believe I've only just found out Ben Kenney released a new solo album on Christmas day. He kept that way too quiet.

No sign of this new single yet then? Feels like they fumble every release these days.

Brandon posted a video on the band’s Instagram story yesterday saying that the song is now coming out on the 31st. Totally agreed about them fumbling every release... it shouldn’t be that hard to stick to schedule. Honestly I think they needed a label to keep them on track.

 

I hope they announce a new album. Their most recent single is awesome.

 

Damn, didn't know that. Struggle to see what causes a two week delay over a single track.

 

If I had to guess, maybe the music video wasn't ready... he did say they were dropping a video with it. Still, it's very messy to announce it like he did and then delay it last minute.

Listening to Make Yourself currently... this band’s run from SCIENCE through A Crow Left of the Murder, and a good portion of Light Grenades (imo) remains so great.

Yeah this song is one of my favorite things they’ve put out in a LONG time personally. There’s one specific part that I’m really curious to see how it’ll be visually handled in the video (you guys will probably know what I’m talking about once you listen/watch haha)

 

The new song is cool. However, I was a little let down the chorus didn’t get heavy. I thought it was leading there. I’ll need to listen more, but the guitar work is fantastic!
