I still have such a soft spot for Through the Fire and Flames lol, that chorus is infuriatingly catchy
The man has created some of the most iconic scores in cinema, has a trademark sound that is widely recognized, and created one of the most iconic themes in the world with Halloween. Like put some respect on it.
I love him. I think he's a genius. I love his movies, he makes great music. He is not one of the three or four greatest film composers of all time.
In addition to the ones I already mentioned: Max Steiner Elmer Bernstein Thomas Newman Hans Zimmer Maurice Jarre Henry Mancini Dimitri Tiomkin Aaron fuckin’ Copland That’s just off the top of my head. I’m sure I’m missing some too Not that he isn’t great
Paying homage as the themes of the movies are similar. this is not really the place for this discussion but Zimmer has tons of great scores
This is so so sad on so many levels (especially just thinking about her poor son terrified and alone). She was such a highlight on the show. Some of my absolute favorite performances and show moments. Just hoping for a miracle at this point
