RIP. I thought he was rather young judging by the picture, but he was actually in his 80s so he lived a nice long life, I’m sure. That store gives me anxiety haha.
I don’t know big the majority of them are, but one here in SLC is really small so I feel like I’m constsntly in everyone’s way. I hate going there haha.
What Aldi are you going to? Every single one around here has like one lane open though the place is packed.
The Aldi by my house literally scans your items faster than any store on earth. They'll ring up 20 items in ~45 seconds.
Trader Joe's has a random layout, or maybe just one that isn't conducive to someone who goes there sporadically and then it's like where the fuck is anything
This is so true, it's like they put the entire layout in then just put the checkout area wherever the hell there's any space left afterward
You really think so? I find it pretty comparable to other stores. My wife and I shop at TJs every week for our groceries and only spend 40-70 for an entire weeks worth.
Like others have said, with the layout/awkward-ness of it I would rather go to a belaire/Safeway if I’m gonna shop that high price. For what it’s worth me, and my wife shop primarily at Walmart(yes). Though will occasionally hit up a Safeway for produce.
