Well crap. His body of work is immense and incredible. I just rewatched Broadcast News and Terms of Endearment in the past few weeks.

 

I missed this when it happened. Dude was in the Beach Boys orbit during a very underrated era of their career. In particular, he co-wrote "Cuddle Up" with Dennis, which is one of his greatest moments and totally sets up Pacific Ocean Blue.
