Jon Schnepp

 

I met Jon last month at the Las Vegas Comic Con. He was such a wonderful guy. He stuck around after a full day of panels to take pictures with people. I'm a big fan of what he did at Collider, especially his Collider Heroes show, and I was so excited when he I saw he had special posters to sign and give to us fans. I'm so sad he's gone.

 

Yeah, that makes me wonder what's gonna become of CH. This is awful

I think Harold Ramis hit the hardest for me when I was informed by this thread

 

I'm a terrible person cause I get nervous when I see the thread and then if I don't know who they are or care about them I feel relieved. And then I'm like oop that's not nice

 

Aretha Franklin

 

RIP Legend.

 

Aretha Franklin was my first favorite artist. She’s the reason I like the music I like, which in turn has been the driving force behind so many of the most important things in my life. I will never forget her and what her music did for me.

Many of you might know it, but I wanted to share this beautiful quote by President Obama regardless:

“American history wells up when Aretha sings. Nobody embodies more fully the connection between the African-American spiritual, the blues, R&B, rock and roll — the way that hardship and sorrow were transformed into something full of beauty and vitality and hope. Tbh, really poor of the guy to name drop two great vocalists and then Taylor Swift, to one of the greatest voices of all time.

 

Aretha was still being generous tbh cause Taylor's gowns aren't great either. Altruistic queen

Apparent OD according to posts on Twitter. He almost died earlier this year and I thought he was seeking treatment. He may have been and relapsed.

Their first album still rips hard.
