I enjoyed his fight with Bruce Lee in The Way of the Dragon. That’s pretty much the only Chuck Norris scene I’ve watched. I’m disappointed but unfortunately not surprised to hear about who he was
The jokes made me laugh in middle school. I didn't even have to know who he was. Jesus walks on water. Chuck Norris swims on land. But yeah I never really engaged with any of his work and I'm not surprised he was an asshole

My only real memory of him outside of the jokes and knowing he was a right wing shitto is that my grandmother used to love watching Walker, Texas Ranger and would often have it on any time we were at her house
