Not multiple miscarriages in and of itself, but getting pregnant eleven times intentionally, even after saying that you almost died from an earlier pregnancy, is usually a sign of the far-right. Normal people don't want to get pregnant eleven times. These aren't Catholic families in the 1930's.
One of the fun thins about growing up watching movies in the ‘90s-‘00s is finding out supporting actors like Duvall in “Gone In 60 Seconds” or “Kicking and Screaming” (the Will Ferrell) are actually some of the best to ever do it and have this incredible catalog of work from way before we were born.
Wiseman really changed the way I view documentaries. People around my age learned about documentaries largely from the Michael Moore style, with a very obvious point of view and a very overbearing narrator. There have been so many imitators of his style that it is hard to keep track of. Even before that, there was the Real World-reality show style with the talking heads and the very obvious editing. However, Wiseman taught me a lot more about how the camera itself is a narrator, a perspective, a point of view. Just watching one of his documentaries, usually over three hours long and often about things that seem completely boring, taught me about the power of what you show or don't show, how the camera lingers, and how people expose themselves when they know they are being filmed.
