I hope it's alright to post here, but Rob Reiner's death has really left me in a rut. I'm usually not affected by celebrity deaths, but I've been thinking about him every day since the news broke. I've been thinking about his kids, his friends, and all of the people in the industry that he worked with. Misery is the only piece of work of his that I've seen and I really only knew of his name through social media and his political activism. I'm not sure what it was about him, but his death hit me hard. I don't know if it's the manner through which he died, or the fact that he's gone. Sorry if it's not the right thread to post this in, but I don't really have anyone in person to say this to.
Really bummed about James Ransone passing away. I think he was incredibly underrated, pretty great in everything I've seen him in. Wish he got to do more stuff. RIP I first saw him in How To Make It In America, which isn't a great show but I do love it, and was immediately like oh shit this dude is fantastic.
His daughter has been on my mind every day. I’m heartbroken for her especially. The whole thing has really unsettled me. Haven’t felt this way since Robin.
My wife is the same way. More and more people keep coming out with the 'Thanks to him....', I just saw Jerry O'Connell break down and cry talking about going out to breakfast with him at the age of 12.... (I will make a tiny tiny comment, that there is only 1 person I saw talk about the negatives, and I will keep my thoughts to myself on that) The movies that Rob Reiner made touched everybody, yes. When Harry Met Sally - when that came out, there could not have been anything negative about that movie. It was the right movie at the right time. I Know there was Princess Bridge, A Few Good Men, etc.... But for me, that was the one.
Sad to hear about James passing. I'd only seen him in It Chapter 2 and the handful of Scott Derrickson films he was in. Knowing someone took their own life, especially when they had a family of their own, is tragic.

Holy shit. Adam the Woo was found dead in his apartment this afternoon. His was the first YouTube channel I really started following. I loved all of his studio backlot tour and filming location videos. I’m pretty shocked.
Bummer. Not the most famous guy but came up with the Chicago improv crew and had some fun bit parts in things.
Bummer to both. I saw Alphabet City last year for the first time and was immediately enamored. Need to check out his other films.
