Huge loss to an Hollywood icon

 

DeNiro was trending on Twitter last night because of his Trump comments, but any time he or anyone in Redford's general age pops up you fear for the worst.

I should have seen The Sting a long time ago but Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is so electric and alive. An all-timer ending, too.

 

Just have to say if you’ve never seen Sneakers it’s great and super underrated.

 

All the big ones - Butch Cassidy, the Natural, The Sting (especially!), All the Presidents Men - if any of those are on TV, I will stop and finish watching it, wherever it is playing from.

People give Bonnie and Clyde credit for starting the New Hollywood glamorization of outlaws and criminals and gunslingers, but I dunno, I've always thought casting Butch Cassidy and Sundance with the two most beautiful men in America always probably cemented it a bit more. He's so good in it, too.
