One of my favorite "cute animal videos" content creators Mikayla Raines of SaveAFox Rescue has passed away after dealing with mental illness and online harassment. If you have ever seen a cute fox video pop up in your timeline it was probably her. It's so fucking sad man. What is wrong with people?

RIP. Jim Shooter was a complicated figure in comics, responsible for some rough story beats. But, he was also a very important and talented guy. Broke into comics as a 14-yr-old in Pittsburgh, who’d write wonderful Legion of Super-Heroes stories to help financially support his struggling family, dealing with an infamously shitty editor at DC who’d cuss him out over the phone constantly. Many years later, became editor-in-chief at Marvel, and probably was responsible for keeping it afloat. Wrote the first Secret Wars. Mentored the comic writer Priest, who’s one of superhero comics’ absolute greats. Oh, and fun fact: dude was about 6’7” tall. And once wrote this iconic note to his editors at Marvel:
