RIP to the GOAT

 

RIP.

I haven’t listened to Beach Boys beyond a scattered song here and there in too long. Tempted to revisit not just classic material, but also That’s Why God Made The Radio, which I remember feeling like an effective epilogue to the band.

 

Rip last time I saw him was The Beach Boys Christmas tour he did. Saw him with my dad

 

Absolute legend

 

My dad is going to be absolutely gutted… like legitimately.

 

RIP. A legendary musician.

It honestly is a really terrific swan song for them.

Breast Cancer she passed away from :(

 

damn - she had cancer since 2018 apparently

 

Noooo! That’s so sad. I watched TRL religiously and she was always so fun and cool on it. Sad

 

Ananda was huge to any teen that grew up on MTV in the 90s. Just a really fun personality. Truly awful.

 

In middle school, my class took a trip to NYC to attend the play The Diary of Anne Frank. Natalie Portman played the titular character (this was before Phantom Menace but after The Professional so kids and I knew who she was). To my surprise, when I saw the actor playing Anne Frank’s uncle appear on stage, I yelled out, “it’s the judge from Ghostbusters 2!”

 

RIP Brian Wilson

 

Seen him in a bunch of movies but I'll remember him best for his 3 episodes of Buffy and one-offs on Frasier and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
