He did, but he also said recently that no one would fund his projects. So he couldn’t really do anything.

I can’t believe this. His works changed my life. We live in a world where we will have no more new art by David Lynch. He always seemed so humorous and caring irl too.

 

This is one of those deaths that truly sends a shockwave through the industry and beyond

For four years I lived three or four buildings down from the apartment where Naomi Watts lives in Mulholland Drive, I walked by it pretty much every night and and never stopped geeking out a bit even though working in this industry for so long has left me mostly geekless.

Gonna have to go back to Twin Peaks: The Return as soon as I get home. Grateful to have that and everything else he’s made. A giant.

 

I thought about Trent a bit today because of this. I have to imagine this is as hard as Bowie’s death for him.
