That was my commute in today.

 

My feed is all Kozik right now. Lots of friends taking this hard. I only met him once at SDCC and talked some on the Kidrobot boards, but because of that circle I’m feeling this one a lot. Such a shock to lose such a staple in the scene.

 

The Smiths were such a revelation to me in high school. With just the one guitar it was much easier to appreciate what he was doing on bass even though Morrissey and Marr have discounted the rest of the band since then.

 

I might have to fire up Mars Attacks one of these days. RIP.

 

NOOOO. Man, that is so young.

 

RIP. Punisher: War Zone rules, easily one of the top ten best movies based on Marvel comics. Forgot he was also the villain in RRR.

 

I just watched Book of Eli last night and couldn't place an actor so went to IMDB - it was Stevenson. Bizarre.

 

Tim, I think of you every time I see anything about that movie. So sad to see him pass away so young.

 

Damn, he was real good in RRR. I'm looking forward to him in Ahsoka.

If you want to make an argument for the greatness of the prototypical '80s sound, play someone "The Best", "What's Love Got to Do with It" and "One of the Living".

And if you want to show them the maximum capacity of the human voice, play them "River Deep, Mountain High"
