So sad about Roger Moore, a childhood hero and someone who played their part in my love of film growing to what has become today. Also means we have lost another person linked with the James Bond series in a week, definitely going to watch my three favorite Moore Bond films.

No worries, been a bad week for Bond fans. All this does is draw me to the fact Sean Connery is not much younger and that will be an even sadder day for me. Just a side note, while looking up the age of Connery I saw that he was offered 15% of the worldwide gross of the Lord of the Rings trilogy had he agreed to play Gandalf. Which would've been interesting to see but would have given him a $400m paycheck.

 

Holy shit, I was just watching that movie the other week.

 

This brought a tear to my eye.

 

Wow, Moore was a lot older than I thought I was. I think because he was Bond after Connery I assumed he was younger than him.
