Dude was so passionate and knowledgeable about music, and it was fun seeing his genuine excitement while talking to Davey about old AFI material. I don't follow the hardcore community real well, but I can see how big of a blow this is already. Such a bummer.
Yeah, I'm at a total loss. I didn't know Bo personally but Chicago being what it is - friends of friends, saw him pretty frequently around the city. I really feel for his girlfriend Taylor. She's been so open about her struggles with the loss of her parents and now this.
Met up with them when I went to Chicago back in August and they were the nicest. I dig around for physical media and he was a big cassette collector so when I came across stuff I’d mail it to him or if he was gonna be in my town or some fest I’d bring the to him. Spoke to him the other day on IG too, very shocking and sad day.
Just got into Hardlore back when they did the Neverender cruise interviews. Been watching the backlog and keeping up with releases. Bo is such a cool, laid back guy in the interviews but always attentive and personal to the interviewee. I hope he found peace. Love to his family and friends. RiP.
She just posted to her stories saying she is with her friends who are taking care of her. Thankful for the HC community right now.
Just found out about this. I’ve been a fan of his bands for a bit but just recently got into hardlore and I’m crushed. He seemed like a good dude. I can’t imagine how his loved ones must be feeling right now
