How fitting that the city celebrated him just a few weeks ago. He’s a proper legend around these parts, and actually got given the freedom of the city just last month. What a legend.
It always felt like he was going to outlive us all. Wild that he was only 76 given how long he'd been active; he seemed like an old man on the TV show and he was just barely 50 there. What a run.
Such a huge huge loss. Bummed about this, but I'm glad he got to do his farewell show before it happened.
