Fatalities include booking agent Dave Shapiro and former The Devil Wears Prada drummer Daniel Williams. May they rest in peace.

 

Dave Shapiro was in Count the Stars too!. Huge loss for the scene, seeing all the tributes come in.

 

He played drums for Craig Owen’s pop punk band too

 

Did Dave have a label imprint under Rise too or am I thinking of someone else?

I’ll never forget touring in 2013 and he was the booking agent for ALL the big bands. Every band i met on tour wanted to be booked by him or was jealous of someone who was.

those small planes are incredibly dangerous, from the article it sounds like they were trying to land when they crashed due to foggy conditions, they were flying from Kansas to California. May everyone rest in peace

Nah he's been out of commission and in a conservatorship for the past year or so. His wife died last year.

 

Okay got it. Knew a friend had seen him at a festival not too long ago but guess it was longer ago than I thought
