He wasn't in the Moodies long (or for their prime) but in the time he was, he sang "Go Now" which is one of the most sublime singles of the '60s. And his work as McCartney's right-hand man was responsible for fleshing out a lot of prime work from one of our great legends. You could do a lot worse in a career. RIP
