I'm taking personal offense to George Michael's death. I'm pissed. I still haven't gotten over Prince's death, this is way too soon.

 

2016 was out for blood. Fuck.

 

I might just spend all of January going through catalogues of the legends we lost. So much to hear from George Michael and Leon Russell and Emerson lake and Palmer and Jefferson Airplane and...

 

I think I should do this too. Never spent much time with George Michael's catalog. Or Leon Russell's.

 

Faith is an incredible record. And I only know Russell's s/t and his album with Elton John (and his work as a bandleader for Cocker), but the man was gifted.

 

Leon Russell's cover of "A Hard Rain" is incredible.
