I was about to ask if you had any thoughts on this. Curious to hear more from folks who may not have any expectations or who aren’t big traditional horror fans.

 

I’m not the biggest fan of slashers because I usually enjoy some semblance of humanity (I haven’t and likely will never see a “Terrifier.”). But I dug this as a genre exercise and experiment.

 

He’s just mad his boy Trump is a felon.

 

This is good praise. Put this on the promo material tbh.

 

Casual movie goers are definitely gonna be going into this expecting a jumpscare fest lol

 

Putting together a group to see this on Tuesday. Cannot. Fucking. Wait.

 

Going tonight and now I’m even more hyped.

 

not seeing until tomorrow but if they expect that based on the trailer they are dumb

 

this was alright. hope chris nash's next film lives up to the potential i saw here

 

So that has to be one of the gnarliest kills (you know the one) ever, right? Also surprised by how funny some parts were.

 

It was the perfect mix of absurd slasher kill mixed with something you’d see out of Mortal Kombat

 

This ruled. Maybe my favorite slasher?

 

Seeing this again tonight while it's still in our theaters.

The part which I think is the part yall are talking about was so shocking it was funny like absurd

 

Yeah I think the Mortal Kombat fatality comparison is accurate. Goes for just enough to make it lean into the over the top and absurd

 

I mean, it’s just insane from a technical aspect alone, but the creativity blew me away.

Why would you expect jumpscares when you're following the jumper and not the jumpee?

 

There were definitely people in my showing who clearly did not realize that that was the premise. But yeah if you do any amount of digging into what you're getting into, it should be apparent.

 

Definitely chuckled at the guy behind me that told his date “you fucked up” as soon as it was over

 

Do people really not watch trailers or read the premise about a movie before seeing it?

 

There are definitely people out there that don't watch trailers or read about it
