I went to see them live 3-4 years ago and was severely underwhelmed - they showed lackluster deleted scenes on a public school quality projector and seemed to struggle with filling any space in between. They're coming again this fall. Has anyone been to one of their live shows recently? Is it more of the same?
Yeah, I just read a New York Times review for some of their January shows and it sounds like they had as bad of a time as me, so I'll skip it. Series is great, though.
I see a lot of Carbonaro and Fameless as well. Not that people watch it, but I just see it on air a lot.
Huh. Like I said before, it's almost always showing IJ when I turn to it. Maybe I hit it at the right time.
Watching a few reruns today; some great ones I haven't seen. British invasion was great. One where Q's punishment was to give a sex ed lecture to some 6th graders, but they swapped out the kids for his parents and some of his slides included, "where I was conceived" with a picture of their bed and having to tell the story of how he lost his virginity "Sensitivity training" where Joe and Sal had to show a video of "what not to do in the workplace" that included Q and Murr sexually harassing their sisters
I thought I was watching a new one this week and it was from 2 years ago haha. I always see the same episodes.
The bit where they're waiting for someone to come into the store and Joe says "you're a disgrace to your family" had me laughing pretty hard.
I missed basically all of this season, but I watched the Nitro Circus thing and I can't decide if it was a work of art or just an utter disaster. Either way I was highly entertained.
This show gets better when more people are in the room watching. We were all crying laughing when Joe yelled and hit the wall.
I wish they stuck to regular episodes. This was painful to watch, although the obstacle course almost redeemed it.
