I'm Still a Ghost. You're Still a Ghost. And That's Okay.

My fellow ghosts,

If you're self-conscious about not having changed your avatar from the default ghost picture...

If you feel like a perpetual noob even if you have the words "regular" underneath your name...

If you look at all the exciting personalities in the forums and think to yourself, "Gee. Do I even have an exciting personality worth expressing through a profile picture?"

If you weep when you realize your personality sucks...

If you again grow content with your ghostly picture after going through the previous four stages, only to fall back into the first stage of self-consciousness...

That's perfectly okay. You're special just the way you are.

(Or if you're like me it just reflects that you're hopelessly lazy. Too lazy to even go into your profile and change the ghost to an actual picture. MAKE SOMETHING OF YOURSELF DANGIT!!!)

But mostly, it's okay.

Be your boring, monochromatic self. Don't follow the crowd. Don't give up the ghost.

That achievement for not changing your picture felt like mockery, which inspired me to change it. I got bullied.

 

As a ghost, I'm obligated to be completely transparent. You look good though so glad this thread could accomplish something.

 

As a ghost, I'm offended by this.

I just love how I made this thread to encourage my fellow ghosts and not a single ghost has stopped by. It's like I've thrown a huge ghost party and no one is showing up. It's so humiliating.

I had to Google this to understand the reference and now I feel lame. Also, I'm still a ghost.

Nine months and I'm still here. Still a ghost.

Because of this milestone, I just want to commemorate my ghostly mom who carried me for nine ghostly months in her ghostly womb. I'd like to think she'd be proud.

 

A year and a half and not much has changed. Still a ghost. Still friendless in the realm of ghosts. Actually considering expressing my personality by way of avatar soon. It rained today. I ate sushi. I spent the whole evening in the bathroom cause that stuff goes right through me. Not an awful day overall.
