don’t even think those are that good because this record is so diverse, those bands stay in their sound for th most part but this record is all over the place in the best way possible

 

ya for sure, i think it was stereogum that made Broken Social Scene comparisons and i totally agree with that. The way this album jumps around sonically while staying incredibly coherent is amazing

 

This is like Charly Bliss and Julien Baker and fuzz rock and all good things had a baby band

 

Youre Better Than Ever reminds me of The Sidekicks

 

The last lines of Shape of My Hands are so good

 

Feel like no other band could pull off a song like Pressed 2 Death and immediately make me cry afterward with Declutter.

 

This is even better than I thought it'd be, wow wow wow what a debut

Can't sum up what it sounds like because it really is that varied. Sunny indie pop, heart wrenching ballads. It's a ride.

 

I was not expecting songs like For Cheez and Declutter on this but goddamn
