I liked this. It doesn’t rewrite the formula or anything, but I like that it’s much more self aware than a lot of the kids movies I end up being roped into seeing. A couple of the sequences are very well done and I was entertained. Would give it a B-
The advertising/marketing was really bad. But the trailer was strong. I know my daughters were very hyped up for it. I think it’s just way too similar to so many other recent and fairly recent kids movies.
It seems like such unoriginal concept. Feel like the same film with a different cast came out a couple years back.

Saw inside out 2 at the drive in Friday and this was the second movie playing. Legit everyone was leaving as soon as inside out 2 ended.
