The Characters ep is the best introduction imo

 

It's really short so idk everyone should just watch all of it

At the very least just watch the first 2-3 episodes as an intro

 

I think this might be true

 

if I was watching this with someone that didn’t like it, I’d tell them I think they should leave.

 

When I’ve tried introducing people to this show they laughed but weren’t fully invested with the first 2 episodes, but episode 3 always works

 

I always just show people the car focus group sketch, not a whole ep

 

honestly the very first sketch where he breaks that door after leaving the interview had me hooked

I think that could honestly be the weakest one in the show

 

the door skit had me kinda like "wtf is this" and amusedly interested. it was baby of the year that got me.

 

Yeah Baby of the Year hooked me

 

“Harvey Jarvis might be the most aggressive baby I’ve ever seen”

 

"Doctor Skull" got me because it felt like something straight out of Mr. Show

 

It’s so short that it’s kind of hard to differentiate (especially since I ended up binging it), but I would say that I wasn’t “hooked” until the end of episode two. Then episode three is my favorite by far so that really committed me to the whole thing.

 

Job interview sketch opening in the first episode didn’t bring me in but the lawyer ad, baby pageant then Vanessa Bayer sketch is what made me realize this was something special

Yeah, door sketch is great. Really sets the tone for the whole show. Lot of bangers in that first episode

kills me because Sam Richardson's character in the most recent season of Bojack is named Doctor Champ.

There's a local band playing here in a couple of weeks called Bart Harley Jarvis

 

My band considered getting branded TC Tuggers for merch.

 

This hasn't been renewed yet? Seems weird. Obviously was popular and looks like it was super cheap to produce.
