my wife “likes” the show, but nowhere near the level i do. she makes fun of me whenever i rewatch, but she does still quote it herself occasionally

 

WRONG

 

My fiancee likes a handful of sketches, like Santa Came Early, gift receipt, Vanessa Bayer, Hot Dog Car, and Bones are their Money. Some of them land, others don't. For some reason, she didn't love the Focus Group which I feel like is one of the most accessible ones.

 

NOW SHE HAS TO MARRY HER MOTHER-IN-LAW!!!

Her delivery in Santa gift is perfection

 

I plan on being alone forever because if a partner doesn't like this show and niche emo/indie then what's the point

 

Every single couple in our friend group has one person who loves this show and one who can't stand it lol

I think it's brilliant, but I can definitely see how it's not for everyone

 

Also I've come around on the Santa Came early sketch hard

 

So would the first episode be the best shot at introducing this to someone new or another episode?

 

Episode 5 is my personal favorite episode

The more aggressive and mean spirited sketches are my least favorites, especially if they lean on overly long gags. The super surreal and silly ones are so much more my thing.

 

I cry laughing at the organ player sketch every time even though I know exactly what to expect

And at Cecily Strong "But I will not respect you and I'll make sure they don't either"

 

This is a somber one.

 

Y’all nerds still sleeping on Scrooge and Garfield I see

 

I love when Sam breaks for a second on Scrooge

 

Scrooge is amazing.

Garfield is bottom 3 for sure.

 

It’s a total party house

 

Garfield should have ended after the house reveal, we’ve been over this!

 

Scrooge is top tier strictly because someone thought of, and wrote the line “eat that goop, Scrooge. Youll absorb the bonies sense of humor”
