I like this more than season 2. But it’s all great. What an all-timer.

 

blasphemous to admit, but I find myself laughing less? Like everything is funny as all hell but I'm not like, physically laughing as much. Obviously it will take repeat watches - I suggested to my wife that we watch one or two episodes every night for the foreseeable future.

Part of what makes this show so funny is watching it with other people who laugh a lot, and we have had like zero luck showing this show to new people IRL. None of them get it! Seems to mostly be an online thing, at least for us

 

I just feel like I’ve seen the sketches all before. Its surprise elements feel few and far between. That being said when I see moments pop up in meme or Twitter formats I find myself being like “okay yeah that part was pretty good” but just definitely not laughing much during the episodes in real time. Hoping a repeat viewing changes that. My bandmate told me to try and think of it as S2 pt. 2 which might help?

Regardless, glad to see everybody else still digging it as much

 

I'd say there's as many misses in this season as the previous ones, and the Driving Crooner and the Doggy Dog sketch made me laugh as much as anything in any of the other ones.

 

Genuinely struggling to come up with a miss. Which ones were you thinking?

 

The Metal guy one, I think the end of the VR one is a whiff, I don't really like the volcano/little pimp one, I think the shirt brothers one flames out, also didn't find the wrestling proposal one very funny

 

I actually agree with all of those, but I think they're "only mid", not misses.

Except the VR one, I loved that one.

 

Yeah I mean “miss” is a bit heavy, moreso that they’re just not as funny to me as the other ones

 

the thing with the shirt brothers sketch is that the god damn song is just too fucking good

 

55 burgers is the hardest I’ve laughed in a long time

 

My least favorites are probably Banana Breath, Dirty Songs, Street Sets, and the VR Game but I still think they have funny moments, they're just not the big standouts of the season which doesn't make them bad by any means. I can't think of one sketch this season that doesn't have an instantly memorable/quotable moment which I find impressive.

 

This one gets me solely because of the lady's reaction when she realizes they're doing a pay it forward thing and does the EXACT same thing.
