Didn’t say that! Just meant that I agree with the autism connection some people pointed out, but I didn’t ~relate~ to this at all
Really, though, based on a few interviews I’ve listened to, I think Jane Schoenbrun would love that Josh comment and want it as a DVD pull quote.
This is such an amazing/interesting thing to read as someone that is and felt the way I did watching it.
I’m seeing this again this evening, this time with the girlfriend. I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie twice in theaters. Maybe never? (also seeing this last sunday was my first time in a theater in 3+ years and now it’s her turn to break the same streak lol)
I think the most I've seen a movie in theaters is 3 times and these are the films that hold that distinction: 22 Jump Street The Force Awakens Mad Max: Fury Road
I saw Into the Spider-verse twice in theaters. (and Dune 2, but only because I wasn't feeling well the first time and left halfway through)
The most times I’ve seen a movie in theaters are Into the Spider-Verse (6) and Amazing Spider-Man (5), and the most recent movie I saw in theaters more than once was Madame Web (3). Hm. There’s a theme there.
I saw The Batman 5 times. I loved it but also my wife was due with our son any minute at that point and I just wanted to get all the theater vibes in I could. that said I do want to see this in theaters again.
