I Love That For You (Showtime) TV Show

Starring Vanessa Bayer, Molly Shannon, Paul James (Greek), Ayden Mayeri (New Girl), and Punam Patel (Kevin From Work). Executive producers Jessi Klein and Michael Showalter.

 

The series was only just ordered so it’ll still be a bit, but very much here for anything Vanessa related. Feel like I’ve heard her talking about making this show in one form or another for a long time now

The third episode is out of sync on the showtime roku app every time I try to watch it. Infuriating

Just found this. I am a huge Vanessa Bayer mark. Love her brand of humor and once I saw the premise this seemed like a home run.

I'm 3 episodes in.

I'm on the fence. Shes crushing it but I kinda wanted it to be a little sillier. All the characters are mostly normal and idk if Bayers awkward delivery is translating to a normal sitcom/romcom setting.

I don't hate it though

 

I agree, think it’s pretty tonally inconsistent but I overall came around to liking it as a whole.

 

Feel like I half-expected that to happen.

 

I full expected that to happen. I saw this got bumped and immediately knew the reason.

 

Hopefully Bayer bounces back.

She still has that nostalgia podcast she does with her brother. Her brother was the former music editor for Alternative Press so they have a good mix of 2000's scene personalities people on this site like as guests.
