Yeah. He’s the only actor who has a great handle on the human core of his character. When he has to be the dumb or bad or awful or outrageous person in a scene, he does it in a way that feels like it’s coming from his flaws and not because he’s randomly extra stupid for comedic effect in this scene. Even Pita, who is trying to be grounded at all times, randomly gets dumb and cartoon-y if that’s what the scene needs and it undercuts the buy-in to the reality of the show. And the comedy isn’t so funny and sharp that you’re fine watching clunky characters be a bit random/too-dumb for the lolz.
Watched a good chunk of this because my girlfriend watched it. I don't really enjoy it. The scenes with Charlie are funny, he's the only character remotely interesting to watch
