This song playing in the background of this video sounds familiar but I can't put a name to it, is anyone else familiar? Thank you!
For all the classical music lovers, can you recognise this score? Or at least it's composer? Thank you!
Hello I'm looking for a relatively familiar song that you see in a parrot clip with powers that give kids the power to fly with plastic toy swings
So, this is a weird one. Thanks to my New Music Mix on Apple Music, I found a Math Rock band I really dig named Scientific Notation. Thing is, I can't find anything about them online. Too common a term for their band name. Here's the SongLink for the EP, but otherwise, I'm totally lost. Quick Maths - EP by Scientific Notation
I am trying to find a song from the 80s I heard abroad and danced to as a kid. It means a great deal to my mum as my dad is no longer with us. Would this be something you could help with?

Hey, I have a song in head but I couldn't remember the name. The chorus made something like "Mary", and it's a dance-type music. And it came about the 2000's. Thanks for helping me!
So, I was able to answer my own question, though it just lead to some additional questions. Turns out, this "EP" has just refreshed in my Apple Music library, and at least 4 of its 5 songs were by different bands entirely, the bands being Rob Ford Explorer, The Most, Abelia and Macaulay Vulcan? No clue what the hell happened here. But I'm glad it was fixed and I now have four new bands to listen to.
Ok so there's this band with I'm pretty sure a female drummer and the song starts with her playing the rhythm. The music video also starts showing her playing the rhythm, and it eventually pans to other members of the band. I believe the video also had really dark lighting. It's a very booming drum rhythm, very similar to a Can song like "Vitamin C," and I believe the music was kind of a distortion-heavy 00s alt rock, kinda like Silversun Pickups maybe? Not positive tho.
Rural Alberta Advantage comes to mind as far as the female drummer/sound, but I can't find any music video of theirs that matches the description.
so I know exactly the band/albums I'm looking for, but can't find a place to download them. Fernweh & Mare's Nest by Other Mountains (post-rock leaning side project from Destroy the Runner members) both albums are archived on Spotify, but not listenable, Mare's nest is listenable, but not downloadable on Bandcamp. anyone have (digital) copies they could share?
Does anyone know what the song used in this video is? It sounds epic and I believe I've heard it before but can't remember what the title.
I am looking for a song that I occasionally listened to years ago but can't remember the title, lyrics or bandname: It was def. from the 2010s, sort of pop-punk/easycore style. The band was female fronted at the time (the singer had dark red hair i think). I am pretty sure it was a British band. In the music video, I think they were hanging out at a beach at one point. Songtitle or bandname might have included words like giants or heroes.. Sorry not much to go on I know..
Hi, I’m looking for a band I believe were on either the absolute 100 list in 2009 or 2010 on absolutepunk. At the time I think they had only released an ep, one of the songs made reference to Medusa or a snake lady. The other song I remember may have been called be brave and had the words be brave repeated multiple times in the lyrics. I think they may have sounded a bit like older la dispute or scary kids scaring kids but I also could be wrong about that. It’s been driving me crazy that I can’t remember more, would anyone have any idea who this band could be?
I'm new around these parts. Lookin for some recommendations. I'm lookin for bands who sound like Dogleg. Hot Mully. Running. Shit like that fucks so hard and I would love to hear if you guys know any other bands that sound like em. Thanks in advance!
should probably check out the Emo thread, or the band/album threads that already exist for those bands.
MiMi Soya? There's another band that comes to mind but I can't recall the name of right now. I'll come back to you if I find it. edit: Found this band through Lastfm's similar artists for MiMI Soya and other british pop punk bands. I remember listening to this album at the time:
