After finishing the series, I have to say it left me feeling pretty underwhelmed. Chris Pine was good, but I think it was just trying to do too many things between telling the real story of George Hodel while also "adapting" Fauna's book. I felt like the show bogged down when it focused on Fauna's story, and it didn't help that India Eisley isn't a very good actress. I also found her speech to George in the final episode to be implausible. There wasn't any indication elsewhere in the show that she was capable of such thoughts, so it didn't really feel earned.
