this is the first i’ve heard from them and it completely knocked me on my ass. is their other stuff this good? i’m kind of blown away.

 

Listen to the last album Life on Earth, it’s amazing.

 

Hawkmoon and the closer are the kinds of songs that are so good they feel like they were plucked from the heavens and brought down to earth

 

My personal favorite is The Navigator. Before that one it was a much more stripped down folk sound. It seems the most popular is by far Life On Earth. They are all great.

 

Conor Oberst on "The World Is Dangerous" is a nice touch. Saw them open for Bright Eyes last year..Mike Mogis mixed the new record too.

This album didn’t get nearly enough love around here. Easily one of the best of the year.

 

been revisiting it lately and it’s phenomenal
