I commented about this in the country music thread, didn't realize it had its own. Anyways, yeah this is a great album, easily her best.

 

Very cool record.

 

Oh man. This one draws you in a bit less immediately than her last, but the rewards are immense.

 

I think this is my favorite song this year. I also think this album might be the most underrated album this year, it's an instant classic.

 

This album is amazing...

I've heard the name of this band thrown around but I totally did not think they were an America band. I love this shit.

This album didn’t get nearly as much love as it deserved and that song is easily one of the best of the decade.

 

Yeah, it’s become one of my favorite albums over the past year, and I tell pretty much everyone I can about it. Her music being featured in that new Sharp Objects show was a good excuse.

 

This album is/was incredible. Just top notch songwriting. “Living in the City” is timeless. Felt like an old friend the moment I heard it.

 

This album holds up as easily one of the best of the last few years. "Rican Beach" is just toweringly fucking good.

 

If you guys watch Sharp Objects, “Pa’lante” closed the episode and credits last week. Got all hyped.
