Hunt for the Wilderpeople (Taika Waititi, June 24, 2016) Movie

Huge fan of What We Do In The Shadows, and this looks hilarious.

Side note: I'm excited about it, but I'm curious as to how this guy landed Thor: Ragnarok.

 

I liked the teaser trailer a lot more than this new one, still crazy excited. I'm bummed he's doing Thor, would much rather he do We're Wolves next

I saw this last night and it was great!

 

Just barely saw this last night. Probably my favorite of the year so far. Sam Neill is fantastic and Julian Dennison is hilarious.

I really wish Taika wasn't doing Thor.... I'm so over the superhero thing and I don't want them sucking up good directors that are so amazing at their original stuff. Maybe he will make the first enjoyable Thor movie though...

Lol I forgot to add it last night. Watched it 3 times in 2 weeks, and the soundtrack is in constant rotation. Love it!!

 

This was fantastic. One of my favorite movies this year.

Watched this last week with my wife. We loved it. She said it was one of the best films she'd seen for a while - always good news as our tastes don't always overlap smoothly!
