I have to admit these b-sides are pretty tight

 

So this remix EP is real good

 

Feeling bad for them, people seem to not care and the turnout to their headliner didn’t seem stellar

 

I’ve been listening to Rare a lot lately and I definitely like shoegaze Hundredth more than metalcore Hundredth. They really should have changed their name though if they’re not going to play anything pre-Rare.

 

Turnover doesn’t play anything pre PV and they’re fine

 

Turnover was never heavy though. For hundredth, it was definitely more jarring, but also a much worse transition, considering the album was extremely meh. It makes sense that it didn’t work for them moreso than turnover.

 

Who says it was "meh"? Lot's of people love it and who are you to say it didn't work for them?

 

I know a bunch of people who like it but also wish they played original stuff.

 

The hardcore stuff is bad and Rare is good

 

Their hardcore stuff is pretty good.

 

They were trying so hard to be Counterparts with the metalcore stuff but failed badly lol

 

they went from an awful band to a somewhat okay band

I'm guessing they don't love playing songs they wrote that they grew to hate because they were bad

This isn't a new phenomenon

 

Let Go and the EPs are great modern melodic hardcore. By the time they got to Free the sound just felt tired.

The Rare sound is where they should be heading though

A bit derivative at times, but damn am I enjoying it

 

Threw this on the other day at the gym, record still rules. I’d love to have those remixes pressed to vinyl

 

They look to be gearing up to start rolling out the follow-up. This is my most anticipated atm.

 

Can’t believe it’s been almost two years since this came out already

 

Wow, 2 years?! I’m very interested in what they come up with next.
