less than jazzed about the AI use but i do find the imagery of this cycle alluring. feel like the music matches it to a tee and i'm very excited to hear the rest. still think this could be their best record.

 

I wonder if the star has a very specific meaning to them/the music because otherwise I can’t imagine going this hard on artificially generated art centered around the aesthetic of a star lol. Would not excuse the use of AI but if you’re gonna double down on this bullshit at least create an original logo or something and not something four million other bands have used

 

The music is cool but all the art I’ve seen for this cycle does absolutely nothing for me. Maybe I don’t “get it” or there’s a “vision” but it just seems like a bunch of AI nonsense to me lol

Yeah; I’m pretty hyped on the tracks released so far and Curve sounds solid.

 

Not going to continue to dunk on Samuel Pura for his over the top, full-throated defense of this band’s dumb use of AI, but I’ve seen Luke O’Neil link to this article a few times now and it’s very good.

Next single “Blitz” drops April 23rd. According to Chadwick, it’s his favorite Hundredth they've ever made and it’s fast/post punk vibes.

Might need to preorder the record at this point - I’m stoked!

This is shaping up to be one hell of a record.

 

I already like this sound for them better than I do Citizen. Blitz, All the Way and Dark Side are great.

 

Blitz how quickly become my favorite single so far. Chadwick’s verse at 1:50 is absolutely wild and now I just wanna hear the whole album already!
