I’m very bummed this season is over already. Such a great show. Started to tear up when he saw mama again.
It's hilarious to me that Conner O'Malley is a writer of the two most cutting edge shows in American comedy right now and most still only think of him of "that guy that screams like a lunatic while eating meats in random places online"
Absolutely respect to Conner O’Malley for his writing but very few things have made me laugh as hard as the video of him riding a lawnmower and yelling “Hell yeah, I have the power of GOD” and pointing a gun at a cop car
Connor's 'Top 10 haunted houses to find pulled pork in' video is legitimately my favourite comedy thing of all time.
I'm finally watching this, watched the first season today. It's really scratching that Nathan for You itch, it's absolutely hilarious and also weirdly immersive and well-shot. That finale of S1 where it turns into a documentation of the beginning of COVID was absolutely gut-wrenching, I really didn't see that coming but it brought me right back to that horrible time, my heart sank when I realized what was about to happen. I was so happy that it had a happy ending with his landlord I really can't wait to watch S2 tomorrow now
Season 2 was amazing too, the wine episode especially was fucking nuts. Can't believe I was so late to this Also I forget which episode it was (probably the parking one?) but the bit with the vanity license plates that went on and on had me laughing in a way only Nathan for You can do
Must have completely missed that this got nominated for the "Outstanding Writing for a Non Fiction series" creative arts Emmy for the How to Appreciate Wine episode. Looking at the stuff it's up against it's almost certainly going to win.
