I don’t have anything to add but holy shit episode four. My house is on a tiny one way street where everyone can see my 75-inch TV. I ran and closed the blinds QUICK when *that* happened.
I started growin' it back immediately after finishing episode 4, and folks, the results speak for themselves.
Is this the kind of show that can even get renewed!? I imagine it’s taken years to gather all the footage required for these six episodes alone so I figured it was a limited thing but I could be way off
I would guess that he already has an archive with tons and tons of unused footage that he could draw from but idk
yeah i'd bet he has hours of street shot footage. but doubtful on interviews after seeing that memory champion lady with something like "hbo interview" on her whiteboard.
He’s been talking in interviews about how much footage of empty streets and stuff he’s been shooting during the pandemic. I imagine a lot of a theoretical s2 would focus on that.
oh right yeah. I was just talking about the random relevant footage that kind of goes along with the theme that I assume wasn't shot just for that episode. I just think a lot about that while I'm watching it lol idk about specific interviews and stuff
he has short films that were released a decade ago that are pretty similar to the stuff on the HBO show. I bet he has archives of footage
