Finally caught up on the new season just in time for the final episode this week haha. So consistently good, and yeah I actually fucking gasped when the car exploded. I figured it wasn't real pretty quickly but it startled the hell out of me and I thought the show actually got super dark for like a split second I hope this is a "soft" ending and he can just go back to doing this again if he feels like it, I feel like this show has endless possibilities
The whole shot of the bad Beatles cover playing in the background of the old people passed out is just brilliance.
I’m really gonna miss this show, it’s absolutely a work of modern art and hands down one of HBO’s best documentary series ever. I really hope John pops up sooner than later with a new project, I’m full onboard with him and whatever he puts out in the future.
As a person that has spent most of my life in Arizona, I may have found it more shocking to discover that Organ Stop Pizza still existed at all than it was to witness John Wilson traveling across the country to film there. That was a real hot spot for children’s birthday parties in like 1995 lol
Did the guy who was tracking The Bachelor say why he was doing it? An insane task either way but was there even a point?
I haven't had a chance to watch the finale yet. Does he acknowledge that it's the end of the show? Or does it just feel like another episode?
Mostly feels like a regular episode but the last couple minutes ties the season together nicely, if not the whole show.
Somehow, that was more shocking than the 911 trainer. He said the castration process took him 3 years. Can't imagine what that was like.
