I had an internship at a very well known robot vacuum company and one of the things I oversaw was a straight line cleaning test so that vacuum competition was straight up triggering (and they had shit methodology and I could totally run a better vacuum competition than them)
The idea of modding out a vacuum cleaner with custom parts so it vacuums the best, on paper seems really cool idea for engineering students. Could be a cool alternative to those battlebots competitions that they do in schools for engineering kids.
When I had the Criterion Channel I watched tons of Les Blank documentaries. Very very obvious influence on John Wilson. The one he did about a Garlic Festival in northern California was fantastic
