Everything he's done is worth your time IMO. Dude has run the gamut in terms of sound and vibes, I frickin love it. Last record was perfect for ~the moment~ What is this Heart will always be my favorite though, and one of my favorites of all time.
I have some work to go over tonight & I’m going to dive in. I was going to start at Love Remains & work my way up. Any particular stand out tracks on What is this Heart?
the hold music & autotune immediately grabbed me. Such a fantastic track. It reminds me a bit of Francis and the Lights in the sense of approach.
Love Remains remixes are apparently only for the patreon and actually going public in a couple months. I’m gonna listen tonight tho- looks amazingggg
Tom released the demos to his next album to his Patreon and, damn, it's amazing. In terms of sound, I'm getting vibes that it's leaning in the experimentation of The Anteroom, but way brighter with more organic instrumentation. Really gorgeous.
That's really exciting. The Anteroom was very good, but a bit abstract for my tastes...Body Fat is one of his best songs hands down imo
I recommend you return to it. I've always loved it, but listened to it again for the first time in a while and thought it's actually much less abstract than I first considered it in my early listens. I think it was just a bit jarring coming after the poppiness of Care. This one on the other hand is plain fantastic so far, LOTS of guitar
Tom released some more demos on HTDW's patreon to I think every song on the next album. Just simply truly amazing stuff--feels like it could've logically come after Love Remains but also touches on every album's sound. I think I even hear a little dreampop and chiptune in there. I think we could get people from the Emo Thread to enjoy this. Fans of dltzk will definitely love it.

new HTDW song premiered on this Crack Magazine mix. It's titled "Water is a Kind of Stone". Starts around 1:01:57 Sunday Mix: Carmen Villain
Woah someone other than me posted in this thread lol. That art is dope btw. The album is supposedly titled I Am Toward You, has 11 tracks, and drops this year. Hyped
Also now on bandcamp and i’m assuming other streaming services. In the middle of the remixed album now and the CFCF track is dope
Remix album was cool but not all of it worked for me. But holy shit this “Unworking Remaster” album is it. Truly sounds like 50% cleaner and crisper than the original Love Remains.
