Excited for peeps to hear Song in the Middle. That one is an unexpected banger. Pure elation.

the album feels like a culmination of all his sounds but also feels like it could’ve logically followed up Love Remains.

bright, beautiful, life-affirming album. I only listened once to the demos years ago on his patreon and I still remember my reaction to it. So excited to hear the real thing

No Light is an infectious little thing. Lovely stuff.

 

no light is an absolute trip on headphones, probably a top 5 track from him

@OotyPa both songs really convey that this feels like an amalgamation of all of his records - No Light even have the pop chops of CARE

Crypt Sustain reminds me so much of the sounds Puppet was doing in his earlier work

 

never listened to Puppet before and just threw on some songs. real good stuff, very much in the Madeon / Porter realm of things

 

not a big fan of his later stuff (mainly due to the mixing) but the singles/EP run from "I'm Here" to "Give Up the Dream" is core/essential for me, adored that stretch

 

another new song. I would concur with the dude (Zac) who quoted this that none of the album's best songs have been released yet
