I read an article that said his albums' progression is represented by the cover art Like the first album is super ethereal and drowned in sounds Then the second one shows an image of his face-- it's more personal, more direct, but still obscured Then "What is this Heart" was very personal. The lyrics were all about expressing himself directly, without veiling anything. That's why its just his sad face up front and personal on the cover. Not sure what this would represent. He did say he wanted this one to be about joy, directness, and curiosity
Absolutely. Ready for the World is in my top 10 songs, ever. Some mind altering shit right there. also:
i still think WiTH is his best but damn Love Remains is beautiful in an unspeakable way. Decisions is so glorious
ooo you've heard it!! I hope there are still experimental sounds like on WiTH like See You Fall, Pour Cyril, and Childhood Faith in Love
Just randomly checked out the new song because @Corey Putney posted about it... so glad I did! I had never listened to this guy before, but I'm loving everything I'm hearing right now.
Gonna do that today! I'm definitely noticing a progression across his albums as I just play random songs.
