    ah my favorite food. whenever i get a sub or something i usually get parm, but pasta dish is definitely the more full experience.

  8. I went to an Italian place in Philly and got chicken parm. The guy asked what I wanted on the side and it confused THE FUCK out of me. Why would you get anything other than pasta?

    The type of pasta can make or break the dish too though, just like the bread on the sandwich

    For example, I don't like bowtie or fettuccine pasta with my chicken parm but a good penne or spaghetti is great

    I make it as a straight up meat entree and serve with sautéed garlic & lemon spinach or asparagus

    The hand crushed tomato sauce stays on & flavors the chicken just fine if you melt some burrata mozzarella on top of it in the oven

    I only make pasta afterwards to eat the leftover sauce the next day
