Really really enjoying this album. I dug Heavy Lifter and the Charlie Martin record a lot but this one is even better. Perfect fall vibes
I think "True Love" is their best song, but yeah I don't know if I can put this above the last one just yet
it’s super early and maybe just release day excitement but this might be the one for me. what a great discography though front to back.
I’ll probably return to this more than Heavy Lifter in the long run by virtue of it being a little hookier overall, plus that one has a couple of meh tracks for me and this has none. But it will pretty much replace Cranberry for me — a lot of these tracks scratch the same itch as that one but with some clear improvement
This album feels like it's going to be perfect to drive around to this fall. Around Again still has me in my feels
I listened to this probably 6 times yesterday and then accidentally fell asleep with it on repeat last night. RIP my Spotify stats
Really enjoying this. Such a quietly consistent band. Hope this album raises their profile, they deserve it.
never cared for anything this band did before but I’m only a couple minutes in and this is really grabbing me already
This album is sneaky. I listened to it and felt meh about it, it didn’t grab me or stand out in any way. But for some reason I can’t stop playing it. It’s so pleasant and calming
Looks like there’s an AMA on Reddit happening right now, if anyone has any questions for them https://www.reddit.com/r/indieheads/comments/q19gdt/ama_announcement_hovvdy_on_wednesday_october_6th
I've never given this band the time of day before a couple days ago but I adored Blindsided when I heard it and now the rest of the album is clicking too. Misheard one of the lyrics on Blindsided though, my brain has been hearing 'Eric Trump's in the living room/Early memories of you' which did seem a bit jarring. I guess I have the rest of their discography to explore. Already bought tickets to see them live :)
