Finally heard Jean good stuff

 

I saw them live tonight and it was a great show! A recap/some highlights:

- New album next year (I think we all knew this though haha)

- About 3/4ths of the way through the show Charlie took off his jacket and was wearing a Wilco shirt which led to some on stage Wilco banter and then saying the next album will be like their “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot”.

- Full U.S. (and probably overseas too) tour next year.

- Free Range opened the show and they were the perfect opener. They played duo style like Hovvdy and I really enjoyed it. The last time I saw Hovvdy in Chicago Sofia aka Free Range was standing in front of me at the show, so it was cool to see her get the opportunity to open for a band she clearly loves and is definitely influenced by.

- They played two brand new songs, which I recorded and uploaded to YouTube and have posted below if anyone wants to listen.

 

I need to see them live

Wow, this one almost sounds like a pre-Heavy Lifter cut. Lots of variety across these three tracks. Loving it

 

New song Tuesday and probably album announcement as well!

They are! It's a longgggggg tracklist tho. Super excited for this record
